Major next-gen console news coming tonight
We just got handed a scoop for some important news with one of the next-generation consoles. We can’t talk about any specifics yet, but you have our word that this announcement is something worth waiting for.

Lassen wir uns mal überraschen was da kommt.
Hm… soweit ich das mitbekommen habe berichtet Kotaku.com das gleiche. Ich rechne mit Infos zu Wii, außerdem heißt es afaik „one upcoming…“, also kommen eh nur Wii und PS3 in Frage.
Ja könnte durchaus sein das es Infos zum Wii sind. Wir werdens ja bald sehen ^^
Da muss es sich um Wii handeln, die Leute schreiben schon so, damit man es sich denken kann (very interesting upcoming console), ohne dabei aber zu konkret zu werden. Und PS3 ist ja nicht gerade die interessantere Konsole, jetzt mal rein von den Geheimnissen her. Und nach dem Disaster gestern, kann ich mir net vorstellen, dass Sony ausgerechnet morgen etwas ankündigen lassen wollen.

Naja, nichts wirklich interessantes.
Wii CPU Produktion begann vor 3 Wochen.
"Frankly, I’m not sure if this is good news, bad news or no news, but IBM confirmed today that they started shipping the brains of the Nintendo Wii for their New York fab plant about three weeks ago.
Ron Martino, director, of IBM Technology Collaboration Solutions, wouldn’t tell me how many of the „Broadway“ chips have been produced so far or how many they will be able to manufacture by Nintendo’s still to be announced launch window later this year. Nintendo also declined to release details about chip production.
While Nintendo hasn’t quite gotten around to releasing the date or price for the Wii, I’d be shocked if that information didn’t come out at their New York City press event next week.
At least we can be pretty sure that Nintendo has already started, or is gearing up to start, production for the Wii. A July job posting by the company for a „production agent trainee“ practically glows with confirmation."
