Feb. 15, 2006 - Nintendo President Satoru Iwata today announced Nintendo DS Lite to GBA connectivity, a true gameplay revolution exclusively available for Nintendo DS™ lite and Game Boy micro. Nintendo DS lite to GBA will launch on March 2nd in Japan and open new possibilites to gamers and developers around the world.
After the tremendous success of two screens on one handheld Nintendo expands the definition of true gameplay to even three screens, featuring the succesful Game Boy micro. Via the new link port of Nintendo DS lite, gamers around the world will be able to connect their Game Boy micro for even more maps, item lists and character statistics while playing their games. Just imagine a football game where you can see the action in 3D on the top screen of the DS lite, chose your calls on the touch screen and have some great cheerleader animations on the Game Boy micro!
